Drivers in Kent forced to swerve giant snowball
Motorists were lucky to escape incident and injury after managing to avoid a giant snowball which was placed in the middle of a busy Kent road.
A group of around 20 masked youths rolled large lump of snow and ice onto the Gravesend highway, while cars, buses and vans were also pelted with snowballs.
One member of the group managed to force open the doors of the bus and then threw snowballs at passengers.
Janice Hall, a passer-by, told the Daily Mail that the incident was "horrendous" and said that the youths were risking causing a big accident.
"It's just wanton anti-social behaviour. Motorists were pulling up and the kids would just run off and swear at them. Residents were coming out to break up the mounds of snow in the road with shovels and they got the same treatment," she added.
This was not the only snowball-based incident to trouble motorists recently, with a group of youths reportedly seen throwing lumps of snow at cars from a bridge over the A329M last Saturday (February 4th), according to GetWokingham.co.uk.
