Volvo trucks win praise from client SRCL
Waste collection specialist SRCL is adding Volvo's Dynafleet telematics technology to its fleet of vehicles after enjoying positive experiences with the auto manufacturer.
SRCL said it is committed to caring for the environment and is therefore keen to monitor its fuel performance.
As a result, the firm is rolling out Dynafleet technology across its fleet of trucks, because it is comparable to having a driver trainer in each vehicle.
SRCL said it is particularly keen to work with Volvo again as it received "outstanding service" from the Swedish company in previous transactions.
The eco-friendly system is being installed into its new FE distribution vehicles, while other trucks are in line to be retrofitted.
Laurence Mullikin, spokesman for SRCL, commented: "I am particularly pleased that our drivers have taken to it so well."
This comes after Volvo insisted that the transportation of the future will be sustainable both in economical and ecological terms.
