Hyundai scoops prestigious accolade

Hyundai has been honoured at the 2012 Car Dealer Power Awards after being named the 'Best Car Manufacturer'.
The South Korean company's UK branch was bestowed with the accolade as judges were impressed with the way the firm has been working hard to forge meaningful partnerships with dealers across the UK.
Officials stated that it was a marked improvement on Hyundai's performance last year when the manufacturer was ranked in the magazine's poll. It is also came off the back of the company's recent strong sales performance where it saw the year to date figures rise by 11.38 per cent to 35,000 units in the UK.
Tony Whitehorn, president and chief executive of Hyundai UK, said: "The UK business is growing daily driven by the fantastic new products that we are bringing to the market place but that growth would not be possible without a robust team and a strong dealer network."
