Hyundai scoops tow award for i30

Hyundai has landed a prestigious accolade for its i30 vehicle after it was named the UK's 'Best Value Hatchback'.
The car was honoured at the Practical Caravan, The Camping & Caravanning Club & What Car? Towcar Awards 2012 and signals the manufacturer's strong performance in recent months.
Hyundai's New Generation i30 model has the capability of towing 1,500kg and came up for nomination following a series of tests aimed at finding the country's best tow car.
It excelled with flying colours during the gruelling high-speed stability, braking, emergency lane change, hill starting and overall practicality tests which put above all its competitors.
Tony Whitehorn, president and chief executive of Hyundai Motor UK Ltd, said: "It is fantastic that the New Generation i30 has been recognised by the Towcar judges. It is a true testament to the style, refinement, efficiency and all-round practicality of our new family hatchback."
