Hyundai scores another premium safety rating

Hyundai has been awarded another prestigious accolade after its New Generation i30 model was given the highest safety rating.
Following a rigorous checking process by Euro NCAP, the vehicle was awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by the organisation and was given the honour of being one of the most risk-free cars in its class.
The i30 received a 90 per cent rating in the 'child occupant' category, which tests how well it handles protecting children in the '18-month-old' and three-year-old examinations. While it is also scored a 90 per cent mark in the 'adult occupant' section.
Allan Rushforth, senior vice president of Hyundai Motor Europe, commented: "The five-star rating for New Generation i30 further demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest levels of safety for Hyundai customers."
The New Generation i30 becomes the seventh consecutive Hyundai vehicle that has landed the maximum five-star rating, following the success of the i20, ix35 and i40 among others.
