Toyota signs up to online motor retail service FindsYouCars

Toyota has signed up to become a participating dealer for the online motor retail service FindsYouCars.com.

The website is the official online car buying service for What Car? and allows consumers to list their requirements for a vehicle, before matching them to profiles created by motor traders.

According to Toyota, it has chosen to sign up to be part of the service after seeing first-hand the site's potential for generating high-quality sales leads and enquiries for its dealers, as well as the savings it offers in terms of used car marketing costs.

Iain McCall, vehicle remarketing and cost of ownership manager at Toyota, said: "This will deliver customer-driven requests, which enable them to respond with the appropriate stock, providing a rapid, personal and totally secure service."

In July 2010, Toyota announced that it is working with the Carbon Trust in an effort to make its dealerships more sustainable, via methods such as improved energy efficiency and reduced waste.
