More business fleets 'opt for Fiat vans'

An increasing number of organisations and business fleets are turning to Fiat for their commercial vehicle needs, it has been claimed.

According to the manufacturer, its vans are quickly becoming the number one choice among more corporate leaders every week.

This comes after Fiat revealed that auction sales of its used vans significantly outperformed CAP valuation guidelines, suggesting that people are prepared to pay more when it comes to its models.

Vans that saw particularly high bidding prices included the Ducato 33, Scudo Panorama and Doblo Maxi.

"These prices reflect growing demand in the market place for Fiat Professional products and an increasing trend for dealers to purchase vehicles at significantly higher than trade guide prices," commented Fiat Group used vehicle remarketing manager Simon Wheeler.

Meanwhile, commercial vehicle drivers looking to reduce their carbon footprint could do no better than by opting for a Fiat van.

At least that is the opinion of the Department for Transport, which has ranked the Fiorino and Doblo models high on its official list of green achievers.
