Volkswagen UK wins award for van aftersales services
Volkswagen's UK van centres have been recognised by the company's head office for the quality of its service and customer care.
The manufacturer's British operations have won the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Worldwide Aftersales Importer of the Year accolade, based on its customer satisfaction ratings, staff training schemes and overall strategy.
In winning the award, the UK division was judged to have outperformed every country that imports Volkswagen vans, with its pricing initiatives also winning praise.
Stephen Bateson, head of aftersales and customer services for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, described the award as "great news" for clients.
He said: "We're pleased that our customers are getting world-class service, great value and having their vehicles kept in the best condition possible."
Last week, British Gas took delivery of a new fleet of Volkswagen Caddy and Caddy Maxi vans, praising the vehicles for their reliability and cost-effectiveness.
