Data will be used by ChoiceQuote Personal Insurance, a trading style of Carole Nash Insurance Consultants Ltd registered in England and Wales No 2600841, and other carefully selected partners, including insurers, for administration, renewal, claims handling, fraud prevention, credit checking, marketing and research purposes and will be added to certain databases which may be checked by various organisations* including the Police. By supplying data to us you give consent for all data provided to be used in this way unless you advise us otherwise via email at customer.service@choicequote.co.uk (for commercial lines insurance) or customerservicepi@choicequote.co.uk (for personal lines insurance) or calling (telephone numbers above). You can inform us of your wish for us to remove this information at any time. You may also request at any time to find out what information we hold about you on computer or within manual records by contacting us as above (administration charges may apply). All information is handled within the guidelines of the UK Data Protection Act of 1998.
*Insurers use information from third party databases to prevent fraudulent claims and to assess whether to offer insurance including terms via the Claims and Underwriting Exchange Register, operated by the Insurance Database Services Ltd and the Motor Insurance Anti Fraud and Theft Register operated by the Association of British Insurers and via Callcredit database operated by Insurance Initiatives Limited. Lists of participants are available on request. In dealing with your application, the registers may be searched. In the event of a claim, the information relating to a claim will be put on the register and made available to participants. To make sure you get the best offer from insurers and to protect their customers from fraud and to verify your identity, they may use publicly available data which they obtain from a variety of sources including a credit referencing agency and other external organisations. Their search will appear on your credit report whether or not your applications proceed.
