I like to build up a record of NCB each year. So I make a point when taking out a new policy that they will write to confirm the number of years of NCB I have gained exactly, not just state "9+" or "maximum".
I rang ChoiceQuote and they confirmed my current NCB of 12 years, and have promised that they write to state I have 13 years at the end of the policy if no faulted claim is made. After being greatly annoyed by my previous insurance broker, who made the same promises but gave me a lot of trouble before honouring their promise, I was put at ease by Angela at ChoiceQuote. She simply emailed me to confirm what she verbally agreed with me.
The policy has the lowest excess that I've ever been quoted for my bike and the lowest premium.
