After taking delivery of a new vehicle, I still needed insurance cover for my old vehicle until a buyer was found for it. Although the vehicle was being held by a Main Dealer until sold, they would not take responsibility for insuring it at their premises and my existing insurance company were only interested in covering my new vehicle.

I like to build up a record of NCB each year. So I make a point when taking out a new policy that they will write to confirm the number of years of NCB I have gained exactly, not just state "9+" or "maximum".
I rang ChoiceQuote and they confirmed my current NCB of 12 years, and have promised that they write to state I have 13 years at the end of the policy if no faulted claim is made. After being greatly annoyed by my previous insurance broker, who made the same promises but gave me a lot of trouble before honouring their promise, I was put at ease by Angela at ChoiceQuote. She simply emailed me to confirm what she verbally agreed with me.
The policy has the lowest excess that I've ever been quoted for my bike and the lowest premium. It's got legal protection, 24hr breakdown and accident recovery, if I get a puncture I'll get towed to a place that can fix it, I've got DOV (driving other vehicles i.e. motorbikes) and European cover.
