Motorists in the market for a reasonably-priced second-hand vehicle could do no better than turning to a new service offered by Carsite.co.uk.
The online retailer of ex-fleet cars has announced plans to introduce a new initiative named Early Bird, which will give the public access to its vehicles before they are passed on to dealers.
A spokesperson for the website explained: “[Early Bird] cuts out the middleman to save money, puts the consumer in total control and presents a no risk alternative to the traditional sales pressure environment of the forecourt.”
The idea is that motorists can click on the site and browse the cars on offer. For those who show an interest in a vehicle, they will be sent 21 detailed photos and a copy of the HPI Check.
This comes after the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders recently noted that more drivers are still interested in saving money by opting for a second-hand vehicle.
