A competent garage can be a lifesaver for any motorist that has reported problems with their vehicle, and the cream of the crop have been honoured as part of an annual contest.
Motor Codes has revealed the names of the national winners of the Garage of the Year awards following a six-week voting process from customers who use the facilities.
On top of the regional winners, Sturgess Jaguar in Leicester was named the overall franchised main dealer of the year while Top Marques of Hitchin scooped the accolade of independent garage of the year.
Chris Mason, managing director of Motor Codes, said: “Though very different businesses, both Sturgess and Top Marques showed the ability to adopt the personal service associated with a family-run business that builds long-term relationships with customers.”
There were also mentions for Sherwoods Vauxhall of Northallerton which claimed the main prize for Yorkshire, while in the south-east Bartletts SEAT in St Leonard-on-Sea took the region’s top honour.
In Wales, Toyota World, Bridgend and A1 Motorcare, Rumney, Cardiff both took home prestigious awards.
