James Bond enthusiasts will be able to indulge their hobby as Aston Martin has announced that it is to showcase a range of its most luxurious vehicles at an upcoming event in London.
The British manufacturer is to unveil a number of vehicles that would even have 007 himself drooling as it showcases the likes of the exclusive V12 Zagato, the One-77 hypercar and, of course, the new Vanquish super GT at Salon Privé in west London’s Syon Park on September 5th to 7th.
The event will allow Aston Martin to display yet another impressive line-up within its stellar repertoire of luxury vehicles for drivers looking at cars at the higher end of the price scale.
Officials believe that the V12 Zagato will become the most desirable sports car on the market, thanks to its exclusivity, which makes the car even more appealing to the millionaire playboy. However, the hefty price tag of £400,000 may be more suited to James Bond’s budget as opposed to the average person. The Zagato comes with a range of features which Aston Martin has been quick to highlight including its 510bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine, as well as its capability of reaching 0-62 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
While the V12 Zagato may be out of most price ranges, the company’s 183 mph 6.0-litre Vanquish, which comes in at a cool £189,995, could really have a driver living the 007 lifestyle, albeit without the danger of cover espionage missions.
If those high-priced vehicles are not to the taste of the motorist, Aston Martin offers one of the most expensive cars within its entire fleet, the Aston Martion One-77. This model can be picked up for £1.2 million, perfect for those that have just won big on the Euromillions.
Salon Privé’s David Bagley said: “Continuing 2012’s best of British celebration we are delighted to see Aston Martin back at Salon Privé in 2012. With the One-77 now sold out, only three V12 Zagato’s currently in the world and the exclusive bicycle making its show debut there really are some rare experiences for visitors to Salon Privé this year.”
