Bentley Motors has kicked off 2013 in style by reporting a surge in sales over the first quarter of the year.
The luxury car manufacturer stated that global deliveries to customers had surged by 25.75 per cent to 2,212 vehicles in comparison to the 1,759 that were recorded in the same period 12 months previous.
Bentley highlighted the strong performance within the US market as well as rising sales in the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe and the company has now opened a further eight dealerships in the initial part of 2013.
Kevin Rose, Bentley’s board member for sales, marketing and aftersales, said: “Bentley continues to sustain significant global sales growth. We are simultaneously rolling out our dealer expansion plan with eight new outlets opening their doors to customers so far this year and over thirty more to come.”
The company also noted the emerging market of Russia as being a driving force, with an increase of 34.38 per cent recorded in the region.
