BMW Group experiences best-ever February

BMW Group has announced that it has experienced its best-ever February as sales surged over the past month.

The German manufacturer stated that it delivered 133,630 vehicles during the period which represented a 4.7 per cent increase compared to the same time last year. Year-to-date sales were also improving and are now up by 7.1 per cent.

Officials explained that brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce all experienced strong growth across the world with the BMW 3 Series being the driving force behind this recent success.

The company stated that the 63,103 units of the model were shifted over February representing an increase of 26.2 per cent.

Ian Robertson, member of the board of management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW, said: “In February the BMW Group achieved another healthy increase in sales and we intend to continue the positive development with exciting new models throughout the year.”
