Manufacturer Chrysler is to introduce seven new dealerships to distribute its range of vehicles across the UK.
The American carmaker has appointed dealers in Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertford, Southend, Chesterfield, Derby and Shrewsbury, in addition to the four announced in July.
Chrysler states that its decision to increase the size of its network is due to an increase in the profitability of its dealer network in recent months, which it credits to its work in rebuilding confidence in its brand.
The new dealerships are set to bring famous model ranges such as Dodge and Jeep to a wider range of customers, as well as providing better service for current owners.
Nick Spang, dealer principal at Chrysler Stevenage, said: “Customers will receive the very highest level of care and service from a team whose goal is to turn the operation into a leading player in the region.”
This news comes after the company reported the sale of 2,014 vehicles in September, its highest monthly figures of the year.
