Skoda’s Fabia and Roomster models will be branded with the manufacturer’s new logo for the first time.
The company announced that it would be altering its trademark in 2011 to create a more corporate typeface and this will be rolled out across these models when they come off the production line.
Both the Fabia and Roomster will feature Skoda lettering on the rear for the first time in their lifespan, along with additional designations such as TSI and TDI which will be under the new font provided by the firm.
Officials noted that Skoda’s decision to undertake a comprehensive revision of its corporate design has come about to reinforce the brand’s entry into a new growth phase.
It also aimed to help the company reach its goal of hitting 1.5 million sales across the world every year by 2018, allowing it to further strengthen its position within the automotive market on a global basis.
