Jaguar Land Rover has carried on its strong sales performance from 2012 into the opening months of 2013.
The UK’s leading manufacturer of premium luxury vehicles recorded a 32 per cent increase in the amount of models it sold during January compared to the same period 12 months previous.
The company had scored strong performances in every major market that it operates in with China seeing the biggest rise of 74 per cent while there was also a 33 per cent improvement in the UK.
Jaguar Land Rover has kicked off 2013 well with the firm securing the Executive Car of the Year and Luxury Car of the Year accolade for its XF and XJ models respectively at the BusinessCar Awards.
Phil Popham, Jaguar Land Rover’s director of group sales operations, added: “With one of the best month’s sales performances ever, both Jaguar and Land Rover brands have had a very strong start to the year.”
