Jaguar Land Rover has announced strong sales figures for the month of February with almost every major market seeing an increase.
The company shifted 26,855 vehicles over the course of the past month with Jaguar seeing a rise of 27 per cent while Land Rover also performed well with Freelander sales upping 26 per cent.
Officials noted that almost every one of the firm’s major markets grew during the month with only China dropping, but this coincided with Chinese New Year.
The current figure is a three per cent improvement on the same period in 2012 and bodes well for the manufacturer going forward into the rest of the year.
Phil Popham, Jaguar Land Rover’s director of group sales operations, said: “Jaguar Land Rover’s sales momentum continues with strong sales performance in February across most major markets. We are particularly pleased with Jaguar’s sales this month, which have increased by 27 per cent following new product introductions.”
