Land Rover has announced plans to give the new Sport model its debut at a launch event in New York on March 26th.
The brand-new Range Rover Sport will be driven through Manhattan on the eve of the 2013 New York Auto Show, which is an event that regularly sees new vehicles making their debut.
It will also be showcased to a global audience via a dedicated microsite for the first time in the brand’s illustrious history.
John Edwards, Land Rover global brand director, said: “The all-new Range Rover Sport takes the model to another level. It is Land Rover\’s most dynamic vehicle yet and showcases the best of British design, engineering and technological innovation.”
The manufacturer picked the US city as the venue for the event as it is the location where the most Sports are sold in the world.
Land Rover’s new model marks the third new addition to the Range Rover family in the last two years, following on from the acclaimed Evoque and brand-leading new Range Rover.
