Mazda boosted by CX-5 launch

Mazda is reaping the rewards from the launch of the new CX-5 model as records begin to tumble for the manufacturer.

Officials stated that the ground-breaking SKYACTIV technology that has been introduced within these vehicles has triggered a major surge in the market and the company has received the largest advance order bank in its history.

The firm’s corporate franchise dealer, Norton Way Mazda, stated that the technology has proved highly popular with fleet owners and it has already taken over 200 advance orders for this incarnation of the popular CX-5 model.

Mazda believes that the uptake of this vehicle is proving increasingly favourable as it delivers low CO2 emissions that cannot be matched by other manufacturers.

Richard Siney, operations director at Norton Way Mazda, said: “Fleet customers that have experienced the benefits of SKYACTIV technology in the CX-5, such as low CO2 and fuel savings without compromising on performance, eagerly await future generation Mazda models.”
