Kia’s new cee’d Sportswagon goes on sale today (September 10th), joining the recently-released Hatchback model.
It replaces the former SW and brings with it a sporty, adventurous and modern vehicle which should prove to be a success in the UK fleet and business market.
The Sportswagon is being exclusively sold in this country and features advanced and highly efficient turbo diesel engines, including the entry-level 89bhp 1.4 CRDi version, which develops 220Nm of torque from just 1,500rpm.
The 1.4 and 1.6-litre cars are fitted with Kia’s Intelligent Stop & Go technology which helps to reduce emissions at traffic lights and in jams.
Kia is releasing the cee’d in four trim grades, named 1, 2, 3 and 4, while 4 Tech is also available.
These trims have a number of differences, including features like cornering lights, LED daytime running lights, electrically folding and heated door mirrors, and privacy glass.
The 1.4 CRDi in trim 1 is available for £16,895 on the road, with the most expensive version 4 Tech 1.6 CRDi selling for £24,795 on the road.
