The all-new Range Rover has been honoured for its commitment by securing five stars at the Euro NCAP tests.
Land Rover’s latest incarnation of the vehicle is said to be one of the most prestigious and expensive models that has been put through its paces and came through with flying colours.
Officials noted that the vehicle excelled within the Safety Performance category and has ensured that Land Rover is continuing to dominate the market in being able to produce some of the best cars within the automotive sector.
The Range Rover was able to secure the highest score available in terms of pedestrian safety in the ‘Large Off-Roader’ category.
John Edwards, Land Rover global brand director, said: “This is the second vehicle launched in as many years with Range Rover Evoque achieving the same result in 2011. Euro NCAP have significantly increased the Pedestrian Protection target in 2012 and Land Rover has risen to the challenge with the all-new Range Rover.”
