Mini UK has named Sytner Sheffield as the best dealership across the country at a ceremony in Helsinki, Finland.
The south Yorkshire showroom was bestowed with the sought-after Dealer of the Year Award at the National Dealer Conference event and was commended for the hard work that goes on at the dealership.
Jochen Goller, director of Mini UK, said: “Sytner Sheffield’s efforts, together with our entire UK dealer network, helped Mini achieve record UK sales in 2012 and the combination of Mini’s unique brand image and the expanding product portfolio continues to attract new Mini fans.”
The company recently landed the honour of being the nation’s greatest ever car for its original Mini, beating off competition from the likes of the Range Rover, Jaguar E-Type and the London Taxi in a survey compiled by Autocar.
Made famous by the iconic film The Italian Job, the original Mini has sold around 5.4 million vehicles during its lifespan.
