A new Renault and Dacia dealership has been opened by PV Dobson in the Lake District.
PV Dobson, which has been operating in the region for more than 60 years, has completed the dealership at its Bridge End Garage site in Levens. The new site will include a nine-bay workshop, with MOT and tyre-fitting offered, and a showroom large enough to display eight cars.
The dealership will reflect the latest Renault Store design, which splits the space into 'discovery zones'. The new retail concept was launched in 2015 and is intended to offer a unique experience to those looking to buy a Renault car.
PV Dobson has taken on several staff to work at the new site, creating valuable jobs in the local area.
Opening new dealership premises always comes with opportunities and risks. Dealers can minimise the risks by making sure they are covered by a comprehensive motor trade insurance policy.
Mark Potter, the director of the Groupe Renault UK's Northern region, explained: “Having PV Dobson on-board is a great boost for the Renault dealer network and, as one of the Lake District’s most respected automotive groups, it is the ideal partner to firmly establish Renault and Dacia in Kendal.
"With its emphasis on family values and building long-lasting customer relationships, PV Dobson provides a first-class service that perfectly complements our vehicles and our long-term focus on quality and customer satisfaction.”
PV Dobson stated that they were excited to be offering cars for as little as £6,000 under the Dacia brand and that several of the Renault models will prove popular with buyers in their rural location.
