A Yorkshire-based car dealership has invested over £1 million in the redevelopment of one of its showrooms and workshops.
RRG Group, which has eight franchises and 26 sites located throughout the North West and West Yorkshire, has pumped £1.3 million into the project, which includes a complete site overhaul to update its Lexus workshop and extend its Toyota showroom, plus a refreshment of its used car pitch. The decision has been made to try and enhance customer experience.
When making wholesale changes to a business premises, it is worth a car dealership considering the implications for its motor trade insurance policy. If leasing the building it is possible to get tenant's improvement cover, which could ensure any new features that are added on site will be factored into the policy.
Furthermore, if a firm is developing its site, it is always a good idea to consider installing high-spec security features; proving that there are robust defences in place could see the price of a combined motor trade quote fall.
Arran Bangham, RRG's joint managing director, commented on the project: "We already enjoy a successful portfolio of well performing sites in the North West and since our West Yorkshire acquisition of three Toyota sites and one Lexus dealership at the end of 2012 we're thrilled that both sales and footfall figures have been steadily increasing, boosting our revenues in the region.”
The company now hopes that by improving its more recently acquired premises, it will be able to continue on its upward trajectory.
