New Citroen LCV ‘to appeal to van insurance customers’

Many van insurance customers in the market for a new commercial vehicle are likely to show interest in the latest model from Citroen.

At least that is the view of the manufacturer, which has claimed that its new Berlingo 725 L2 Crew Van is sure to appeal to a wide range of large commercial vehicle (LCV) customers.

The van’s twin slinging side load doors, its side-hinged rear doors, central locking, electric front windows, satnav and tracking system make it a desirable option for drivers, Citroen has asserted.

Commercial vehicle operations manager at the organisation Robert Handyside commented: “We expect strong demand for this important new model from operators involved in civil engineering, construction and utilities maintenance businesses.”

This comes after Fiat recently claimed that commercial vehicle drivers in the market for a new vehicle that comprises fuel-efficiency, low carbon emissions and high performance should look no further than its van models.
