Springfield Motor Group and Grosvenor Contracts Leasing are supplying a firm in Nottingham with over 300 Citroen light commercial vehicles.
Nottingham City Homes is taking delivery of Citroen’s Dispatch and Relay vans, which may require van insurance, to replace all of its existing fleet of vehicles.
Procurement and operational support manager at Nottingham City Homes Peter Smith said the tender it put out for the supply of commercial vehicles stipulated a number of “stringent cost and environmental requirements”.
Commenting on the deal, Robert Handyside, commercial vehicle operations manager at Citroen, said: “Citroen is at the forefront offering a unique, cost effective and green efficient, light commercial vehicle proposition.”
The vans will be given to trades people who are involved in the maintenance of 29,000 residential properties in the area.
