Renault boosts van range

17 August 2012

Renault has announced a plethora of improvements to its van range in a bid to boost their appeal to commercial drivers.

The French manufacturer has moved to make their entire fleet more energy efficient as the impact on the environment becomes an increasingly important factor to potential buyers.

Officials noted that the company has cut emissions by up to 24g/km on all of its Master van range as well as improving the fuel economy of the vehicles by a maximum of 3.8mpg.

As part of the improvements, Renault engineers focused on a number of key areas including thermal management to improve the water flow throughout the vehicle, new oil and power steering pumps, new gearbox lubricant as well as low fuel-consumption tyres to provide the best possible service to drivers.

Interior features have also been modified with better radio options, as well as the opportunity to play CDs and MP3s in certain models.
