Vauxhall van drivers to access DAB radio

25 October 2012

Vauxhall van drivers could soon be benefiting from a whole new audio experience as part of a new upgrade.

The company announced that it will be offering DAB digital radio installations for owners of Astravan, Corsavan, New Combo, Vivaro and Movano models, providing a new level of in-van entertainment.

From just £195, including VAT and installation, drivers will be able to access a wide variety of stations, meaning the days of fiddling around with the controls to get right frequency could well be over.

Officials stated that owners can visit any Vauxhall retailer and have the upgrade installed allowing them to go about their daily work with crystal clear radio in their vehicle.

Simon Gibbs, Vauxhall product development manager, praised the new initiative adding: “It is great that Vauxhall van drivers will be able to tune into digital radio on the road, with an outstanding choice of stations compared with standard FM radio.”
