Vandals have run riot at a car dealership in Wigan, breaking the windows of 70 vehicles.
The incident happened at the Chorley Nissan dealership in Pottery in the early hours of Tuesday morning (29 July). The criminals smashed through the windows of the showroom before making their way inside to damage the vast stock of cars stored on site.

According to police reports, the culprits in Wigan used a sledgehammer to force entry into the car dealership. Officers say that there were three men involved in the break in, each of medium build and all wearing dark clothes with their hoods up.
Detective Constable Daniel Ritchie said: "I am asking anyone who lives in these communities to come forward with any information they may have that will help us catch the culprits.
“We are taking this matter extremely seriously and we will do everything we can, with the public's help, to identify those responsible for this senseless act of vandalism."
