Seven members of staff from ChoiceQuote insurance in Liverpool have completed the city's 5K team challenge run.

The ChoiceQuote team winner, Gary Gratton, took just 21.39 minutes to finish the city centre to route. He said: "It was a gruelling course, through the centre of Liverpool but fun to be part of such a major city event".

ChoiceQuote provides specialist insurance services to the taxi industry as well as offering motor trade, van, car and bike insurance. It employs more than 60 people in Liverpool. A further 15 staff work in offices in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.

More than 150 teams entered this year's race on Sunday 21st September which started and finished outside Liverpool's iconic Liver Buildings.

Marketing manager for Choice Quote, Lindsay Price, said: "As a Liverpool based company we try and enter a team whenever the event is held. It's an excellent team building opportunity and a way of supporting local events".

The Liverpool 5K Team Challenge replaced the Corporate Cup which was last held in the city in 2004.
