Cathie Bruce to join ChoiceQuote
ChoiceQuote Insurance Services Limited, the specialist insurance intermediary, has announced
the appointment of Cathie Bruce as Managing Director with effect from 1st November.
Cathie moves to ChoiceQuote from Groupama Insurances where she has been Distribution and
Customer Service Director since 2006. Cathie will assume operational responsibility for
the ChoiceQuote business and will be based at the company's head office in Liverpool. She
will report to ChoiceQuote's CEO, Philip Catterall until he retires from the business later
next year.
Cathie Bruce joined Groupama Insurances as Head of Proposition in October 2004 from IPRS where
she was a main board director responsible for the marketing and business development activity
across the IPRS Group. A talented insurance and marketing professional, Cathie was previously
Sales and Marketing Director at Fortis and has considerable broking experience from senior
management positions at Marsh and Endsleigh.
Commenting on Cathie's impending move Philip Catterall said: "With my departure from the business
timetabled for late next year, it has been important to identify my successor and I am delighted
that Cathie has accepted the challenge to switch into this new role. The strength of Groupama's
extended UK business has given us a fantastic opportunity to attract someone with her pedigree
and it's great news that she will be joining ChoiceQuote. Cathie has tremendous industry
experience at a senior level within the insurer and broking sectors and valuable knowledge of
e-business, an area where ChoiceQuote is continuing to develop strongly."
