Commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco has received a recommendation from its client Elliott Baxter on its Stralis trucks.
The independent paper supplier has invested in two new Stralis Active Day rigid vehicles for its fleet in northern England, which already includes eight Stralis trucks and eleven Iveco Eurocargos.
Phil Bourne, logistics director at Elliott Baxter, said: “We’ve been purchasing Ivecos for many years and find the Stralis and Eurocargo models well suited to our fleet. They offer competitive whole-life costs.”
The manufacturer claims that buyers of its vehicles can benefit from driveability and safety enhancing features such as rear-steering axles, automated gearboxes and ergonomically designed cabs which allow for easier and more intuitive control.
Last week, Iveco’s new model Eurocargo commercial vehicles received a glowing testimony from client Allied Bakeries, which praised the trucks for the safety and reliability benefits provided by the standardised automatic transmission system.
