Commercial vehicle motorists and fleets in Leicestershire looking to purchase a new van could very well turn to Volvo for their needs.
That is the opinion of the manufacturer, which has claimed that a recent open day held at the Volvo Truck and Bus Centre Dealerpoint in Bardon helped to bring it closer to existing and potential customers.
Visitors were treated to a number of presentations on areas such as tachographs and fuel cost reduction, as well as seeing various models on show.
“We have a programme for the rest of the year which includes … local seminars on key issues that our customers are facing like fuel management, up-time, legislation and cost-saving initiatives,” commented Volvo Trucks UK marketing and PR director Amanda Hiatt.
This comes after the National Grid recently vouched for Ford’s commercial vehicle range, claiming that its different models offer high performance both on and off road.
