BMW has continued its strong start to 2013 by landing a number of awards at the annual Fleet News ceremony.
The manufacturer’s 3 Series has claimed the best new Company Car of the Year as voted by fleet operators around the UK while BMW was also named as the Fleet Manufacturer of the Year.
It took a grand total of four accolades at the event with the 3 and 5 Series also claiming the Best Premium Car and Best Executive Car titles respectively. It marks a highly positive start to the year for the German company.
BMW Group recently announced that it had experienced its “best-ever February” with sales recording a 4.7 per cent increase on the same time 12 months prior and helped to secure a 7.1 per cent year-to-date rise.
Officials explained that its brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce all performed strongly over this timeframe with each individual aspect shifting a high number of units.
