BMW Group, which includes BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce, has announced record-breaking sales for March.
The company said that it sold more vehicles last month than in any other in its history.
In total across the three brands, 191,269 motors were sold at forecourts around the world, with solid gains made in Asia and the Americas.
Ian Robertson, member of the board of management, sales and marketing at BMW, said: “The BMW Group achieved an all-time high in sales last month and the best first quarter in its history, despite the headwinds present in Europe.”
He added that sales of the BMW 3 Series continue to contribute strongly to the organisation’s growth, and the range will soon be expanded with the Gran Turismo.
Furthermore, there will also be a new Mini Paceman hitting the roads of the UK in the next couple of months, building on the brand’s success since re-launching.
