Jaguar Land Rover has debuted its all-new Range Rover Sport at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The manufacturer has described the latest incarnation of this famous vehicle as being “the fastest, most agile and most responsive Land Rover ever” and noted that the Asian market is something that it is looking to tap into.
Bob Grace, president of Jaguar Land Rover China, explained that the nation became the company’s largest global market after selling 72,000 models over the timeframe, marking a 71 per cent increase.
The new Range Rover Sport will come with Jaguar F-TYPE as well as following on from iconic versions such as the C-Type, D-Type and E-Type.
Dr Ralf Speth, chief executive officer of Jaguar Land Rover, added: “[We have been] Improving fuel economy and reducing CO2 emissions with innovative advanced technologies, hybrid engines, as well as our world-leading lightweight aluminium engineering technology.”
The company experienced a positive start to 2013 after scoring its best-ever sales figures for the month of March.
