Jaguar Land Rover has carried on its strong performance through 2013 and has scored its best ever sales figures during March.
The company posted the highly monthly retail sales in its 65-year history and has been aided by the soaring transactions on both the Land Rover and Jaguar UK brands, with the latter rising 20.6 per cent year on year.
Land Rover was helped significantly by the increased success of the Range Rover and Land Rover Freelander models which were up by 43 per cent and 45 per cent respectively while the Range Rover Evoque also improved by nine per cent.
Jeremy Hicks, Jaguar Land Rover UK managing director, said: “The strong sales performance of Jaguar Land Rover products in March has been driven by new product, considered model year updates and a strong luxury sector performance.”
The company recorded similar results when it announced its financial results for February, where it had seen sales grow by 27 per cent.
