Mercedes-Benz has announced the pricing and specifications for its new GL-Class vehicles which are due to be produced in the opening part of the year.
The German manufacturer revealed that the GL 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport will start from £59,465 OTR, while the GL 63 AMG will be available from £91,680 OTR, with the cars coming off the production line from January 2013.
Officials stated that energy-efficiency has been a main feature behind this latest incarnation of the vehicle with carbon emissions being improved by 14 per cent, while fuel consumption was also boosted by 15 per cent compared to the GL 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY.
Mercedes stated that the new generation GL-Class will come with seven seats and an Easy-Entry System that allows the third row to electronically fold to allow people to get in and out of the vehicle with relative comfort.
This latest announcement caps a positive year for Mercedes adding to its record figures in terms of sales.
