Skoda UK wins award for customer service

Skoda has honoured its UK importer and retailer network for the quality of customer care and services it provides.

The manufacturer’s UK division has been presented with the Human Touch and Customer Care prize at its annual Importer of the Year Awards for the second consecutive year.

This represents the fourth time in five years that Skoda UK has won this accolade and comes after the firm was also named Best Manufacturer of 2009 in a recent Auto Express Driver Power Survey.

Robert Hazelwood, director of Skoda UK, stated that the firm’s consistently strong performance in customer satisfaction surveys underlines its commitment to high-quality service.

He added: “It is this commitment that has made Skoda the manufacturer of happy drivers and we aim to enhance our reputation in this area still further in 2010.”

Earlier this month, the carmaker claimed the title of most improved fleet manufacturer at the Fleet News Awards 2010, as well as taking the Best Upper-Medium Car prize for its Superb model.
